Arc Systems choose local Mind as charity partner
Arc Systems have today launched their charity partnership with the mental health charity, Mid And North East Essex Mind, which will commence in 2019.
Mid and North East Essex Mind was chosen following a vote among Arc Systems staff and will see the Basildon-based IT company undertake a number of fundraising initiatives to raise money and awareness for the charity.
The charity provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Money raised during the partnership will fund the charity’s work as well as campaigning to secure a better deal for everybody who experiences a mental health problem.
Arc Systems’ Marketing Manager, Steven Dove said: “This is the first time Arc Systems have supported a charity and we’re really looking forward to working with Mid and North East Essex Mind on a wide range of volunteering and fundraising activities.
“Mid and North East Essex Mind were the clear winners when we asked our staff who they would like to partner with, and we’re very excited to be supporting their essential work.”
Stephanie Mills, Mind’s Marketing & Fundraising Manager at the charity, said: “We are delighted that Arc Systems has chosen to support Mid and North East Essex Mind for 2019.
“Their support over the course of this partnership will allow us to continue to be there for people who need it, when they need it the most and to fight to make sure that everyone with a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.”
Arc Systems will support the charity in all their campaigns throughout 2019 and as part of today’s launch, staff were given an insight into the work Mid and North East Essex Mind do in Essex.
