With a wide-reaching portfolio and a team operating from multiple sites, including their offices in London and Billericay, Essex, BDC supports national clients in both the private and public sectors.  Their team consists of highly skilled and dedicated chartered engineers, engineers, and technicians committed to delivering exceptional and timely designs and drawings that meet all project requirements. 

With a growing business and increasing demands on its infrastructure, BDC required a proactive IT partner that could not only support its existing systems but futureproof its digital operations for continued growth.  

The challenge

The solution

Following a comprehensive audit of BDC’s existing setup, our team designed and delivered a tailored IT strategy that would transform BDC’s infrastructure while remaining aligned with their operational goals.

  • XGS 136 Firewall: this was implemented to provide next-generation threat protection and improved network visibility, ensuring secure access for all users. 
  • Mimecast and Sophos endpoint protection: this was deployed to secure email communications and endpoints against ransomware, phishing, and malware attacks. 
  • Exclaimer Cloud 365: this was rolled out to manage consistent, branded email signatures across the organisation, improving professionalism and compliance. 
  • 200MB Leased Line: installed to deliver ultra-fast, dedicated internet access to BDC’s head office, supporting bandwidth-heavy applications and VoIP services. 
  • Office 365 Licenses & Managed Backup: provided to support collaboration while safeguarding Microsoft 365 data through automated backup and rapid recovery. 
  • Teams Telephony: introduced to streamline internal and external communications, enabling BDC’s team to remain connected and responsive, wherever they’re based. 
  • Ongoing general IT support: Arc’s responsive helpdesk and proactive monitoring ensures that any issues are resolved swiftly, reducing downtime and maintaining productivity.
