FSB Technology
FSB provides white-label betting services to some of the world’s best-known betting platforms.
The client
Founded in 2007 by experienced sports betting professionals, FSB anticipated how consumer demand, live betting, smartphone adoption and evolving European gaming regulations would reshape the betting and gaming landscape.
Today, FSB provides white-label betting services to some of the world’s best-known betting platforms.
The challenge
By 2020, limitations in FSB’s existing cloud environment were increasingly constraining the business. The platform relied on an unreliable public cloud, underpinned by outdated hardware and restricted to 1GB network speeds, which limited scalability and growth.
Infrastructure updates led to multiple outages, while limited system access left FSB overly dependent on its supplier. In addition, the original platform configuration offered no effective disaster recovery capability, creating unnecessary operational risk.
The solution
Working closely with FSB, we designed and delivered a private cloud built on hyperconverged, all-flash storage technology. This significantly improved storage performance, delivering a tenfold increase in read and write speeds, enabling FSB to virtualise database servers without any loss of performance.
The solution was deployed across two data centres from day one, immediately introducing a robust disaster recovery strategy. The platform was also designed with sufficient capacity to remove the need for bursting into the public cloud, addressing a key long-standing issue.
Throughout the migration, a high level of support was provided, the platform was delivered on time, and FSB was supported by a dedicated and responsive account manager. Ten months into the service, the platform has delivered uninterrupted availability with no outages.
“(They) play a fundamental part in the services we deliver to our clients every day and I would not hesitate in recommending them.”

The results
FSB has seen significant benefits across performance, resilience and cost. Platform stability and confidence have improved markedly, physical database servers have been fully virtualised, and application performance has increased across the estate, enabling more updates per second.
Application deployment times have been reduced by 50%, freeing development teams to focus on innovation and new features. Alongside these operational gains, the financial savings delivered have been substantial.
