We’re pleased to confirm that our Acronis #TeamUp partnership with Italian motorsport team, PREMA Racing, is continuing into its second year.

The partnership launched in 2025 and this year we returned to Silverstone for the 2026 British Grand Prix, where Acronis will once again serve as Official Cybersecurity Partner of PREMA Racing across the FIA Formula 2 and Formula 3 rounds. Renewing this activation builds on a successful first season together, and it reinforces something we believe strongly: that keeping a team’s data and IT systems secure under the pressure of a live race weekend is a shared responsibility, and one we’re proud to take on.

For PREMA, the value is practical. Modern racing runs on data, from telemetry and engineering analysis to logistics and trackside operations. Protecting that data, and keeping it available when it matters most, is now part of how a competitive team performs. That’s where our role comes in.

Stephen Mitas, CEO and Team Principal, PREMA Racing, said: “A year on, this partnership has proven its value. Reliable data protection is no longer a back office concern, it is part of any high-performing racing team. Returning to Silverstone with Acronis and Arc gives us the confidence to focus entirely on the track, knowing our systems are secure and our operations are protected throughout the weekend.”

Ronan McCurtin, RVP EMEA, Acronis, said: “Renewing at the British Grand Prix says everything about the strength of this partnership. The first year showed exactly what Acronis #TeamUp is built for, bringing performance and protection together where it matters most. We are proud to continue alongside PREMA and Arc at one of the sport’s most iconic venues.”

For our team, this partnership has been about more than a logo on the cars (although we were incredibly proud of that!) It’s about putting our expertise to work where it counts, keeping PREMA’s operations running smoothly and securely, whatever a race weekend throws at them.

James Clayden, CEO, Arc, said: “Working together with PREMA in 2025 was a proud moment for Arc, and we are delighted to do it again in 2026. Our role is simple: keep PREMA’s operations running and fully-protected, working hand in hand with Acronis to deliver robust, proactive security.”
