We’re pleased to share that Arc has officially announced the appointment of Mark Darrah as our new Chief Technology Officer, marking an exciting new chapter for the business.

Mark steps into the role following Matt Clayden’s decision to step aside after 25 years of leadership. Matt’s contribution has been central to Arc’s success, shaping the strong, innovative business we are today. We extend our sincere thanks to Matt for his dedication, strategic vision and lasting impact on the company.

With more than 25 years of experience in technology and managed services, Mark brings a proven record of driving growth, innovation and operational excellence. Many of you will already know Mark from his time as founder and director of NITC, which became part of Arc following our acquisition in October 2024.

As Chief Technology Officer, Mark will joins our executive leadership team, and will lead our strategic technology direction, further develop our service capabilities and oversee the delivery of customer projects across the business. His focus will be on ensuring Arc continues to provide reliable, secure and forward-thinking IT solutions that empower our customers and support their growth.

I’m deeply grateful for the relationships that have been built, with colleagues and customers alike, and I’m excited to see what the next chapter holds for Arc. I’d like to wish Mark every success in his new role as CTO, and finally, to thank my brother James for the opportunity to join Arc almost 30 years ago – it’s been a blast!”

As part of this transition, Dan Bryant will now take on the role of Cloud Practice Lead, overseeing our growing cloud services offering.
